I'm out of shape. Can I do CrossFit?

Absolutely. Our program is easily adjusted to all fitness levels.

I'm really bad.. Will people make fun of me?

No. In fact, the other athletes will support, encourage and cheer for you every step of the way.

Is CrossFit dangerous?

No more than any other fitness program. We have well trained coaches who make sure you properly perform exercises appropriate for your level of fitness, flexibility and experience.

What is a WOD?

Workout of the Day. A WOD is posted Monday through Saturday. That is your assignment for the day. Some Boxes skip Saturday. Some Boxes include Sunday.

Will I get 'bulky' from all the lifting?

Not unless you really, really want to. Gaining lots of muscle is extremely difficult.

I've never lifted weights before. Can I do CrossFit?

Yes. We’ll teach you everything you need to know.

Can I do private lessons?

Yes. Talk with a coach for details.

Do I have to attend an 'on-ramp' or beginners class?

No. We offer a four day on-ramp program but it is optional. Come in and do a few WODs. See if you feel you need the on-ramp.

What is a Box?

A CrossFit gym is referred to as a Box.
